The sluggard is described quite a bit in the book of Proverbs. He is lazy, and the author uses vivid language to illustrate his tendencies in life. He won't start things. He won't finish things. He won't face things. He brings harm to himself and the people around him. And he is never satisfied, even though he won't do the things needed to satisfy his cravings. Yet, sadly, we can so easily relate to the sluggard. The danger for the sluggard is not massive failures of judgment, but rather, a series of miniscule missed opportunities that compound into an avalanche of destruction.
