We can have all the information, have all the facts, crunched all the numbers, yet still...we do not understand. We think that if we only had the right bit of information in front of us, if God would simply give us a sign of his will, then we would follow him unconditionally. Mark 8:1-26 reminds us that we don't ultimately suffer from an information problem, but from a spiritual problem. Yet, Jesus has the power to open our eyes to see who he is, and what he calls us to do, to follow him.
