The nation of Israel had been here before. Standing on the edge of flowing water with God's promises of life and blessing on the other side. They had been at the doorstep of the Promised Land, previously choosing to let fear rule their hearts instead of walking by faith. Yet once again God gives them an opportunity to trust him; to know the living God is among them. This Sunday, we will look at Joshua 3:1-17 and Israel's crossing of the Jordan River. God's people now, just like then, are in need of knowing the presence of God. Join us, as we see how knowing that "the living God is among you," empowers us to walk through fearsome obstacles, and to know God's precious promises.
