We will continue to look at the nature of a disciple this week as we open to Ephesians 1:11-23. In this passage you will see the transformation that is brought about by the Spirit. In Christ, we are sealed by the Holy Spirit, who brings to us wisdom, knowledge, and hope. Yet, I love the prayer that Paul prays. He asks that God would open their hearts to actually receive and know the glorious hope to which they have been called. This helps us not miss the fact that our efforts cannot open someone's eyes to truth. It will be through the power of God, which is the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. Join us on Sunday as we delve into the expected growth of a disciple of Christ.
