Ephesians 2:11–22
The Proximity of a Disciple

When we have a friend or family member whom we are able to share personal details of our life with, we say they are "close." When we are frustrated with a relationship for a variety of reasons, we often say there is "great distance between us." Scripture also uses this kind of language to describe our relationship, not just with one another, but with the Lord himself, saying "in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ" (Eph 2:13). How frustrating and distressing to have distance in our relationships! Yet, God offers to us a closeness which not only radically changes how we relate to God, but to all who have been brought near to him as well. Join us this Sunday as we dive into Ephesians 2:11-22 and are drawn near to the living God together.
