When on the cross, Jesus prayed for his tormentors saying, "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do" (Luke 23:34). When experiencing the attacks of enemies, David cries out in Psalm 58, "Let them be like the snail that dissolves into slime, like the stillborn child who never sees the sun" (Psalm 58:8). How then are we to respond to threats and harm and rejection in the name of Christ? What hope can I have that God sees my pain, and what should I do with it? Join us this Sunday as we look to the God who rights all wrongs, and where we can say "surely there is a God who judges on earth" (Psalm 58:11).
Notes:
1) Perceive What Is Right
