Psalm 139
You Are There

This upcoming Sunday marks the 40th anniversary of the first National Sanctity of Human Life Day (January 22, 1984) that President Ronald Reagan proclaimed as a day "to give thanks for the gift of life, and to reaffirm our commitment to the dignity of every human being and the sanctity of each human life." What Reagan declared merely mirrored what King David brilliantly captured in Psalm 139, the psalm we will study on Sunday. We are known by God and can go nowhere to be outside of his presence. He even knew us in the womb as he formed us and knit us together. As David reflected on these truths, he reflected his joy by saying, "How precious to me are your thoughts, O God!" Join us on Sunday as we see the security and joy that flow from remembering that God knows us so deeply.
