Often times, we think that the Christian life is following Jesus’ example in doing good deeds. However, since Jesus came to die and rise from the dead, the regular path of a believer should expect aspects of death and resurrection. At salvation, we “died with Christ” and were given life in Christ, “who is your life.” Then as we live the life of faith, we get the joy of living patterns of death and resurrection. Though that sounds intimidating, it is the very place that the Spirit brings resurrection power into our lives.
