In chapter 2 of his historical account of the birth of Jesus, Luke captures both what occurred and how people (and angels) responded to these events. The long-awaited Messiah was born. The One who created and sustained the world came into the world in the most humble and dependent of ways. As this unfolded, the angels burst into praise, "Glory to God in the highest,and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!” Join us this Sunday as we reflect on such a familiar story that has such a profound impact on the history of the world.
