As we begin a new year, it seems fitting that we would examine our lives and take stock of our relationship with God. In John 15:1-11, Jesus clearly states that "apart from me you can do nothing." Yet, we often go through life as if this isn't true. We start our days without considering our dependance on him, diving headlong into projects and thinking about solutions before seeking his guidance and wisdom. We say that we believe the words of Jesus, but our actions often don't reflect this belief. Is it any wonder that we are riddled with anxiety or burdened with workaholism?
