On Sunday, we will continue our Advent series with the theme of peace. From Micah 5:1-5a and Isaiah 9:2-7, we know that Jesus is the "Prince of Peace," and for his people, "he shall be their peace." Just like we saw last week that hope is found in the person of Jesus, we see that he is our peace as well. He is the one who ushers in peace, both peace with God and peace in our lives. Yet, peace doesn't flow without a battle. He is also called the "Lord of Hosts" ("Lord of the Heavenly Army"). He entered the war so that may have peace. Join us on Sunday as we consider how we might have true peace this Christmas.
