Galatians 3:1-14
Faith from Beginning to End

It feels great to receive credit for something you worked hard to complete. Whether it was a school assignment, a project at your house, or a tough responsibility at work; it's nice to be recognized for effort and success. This is partly what makes grace so difficult to receive! My reward or consequence should begin and end with my efforts. The Galatian church had been deceived into believing that the Christian life was entered into by faith, but lived out based on their efforts and "works of the law." They strain for blessings from God, and should receive rewards for how hard they try. Paul warns them of the danger of such a belief in Galatians 3:1-14, a warning which we all need to heed.
