Galatians 5:16-25
By The Spirit

Have you ever wondered why the Christian walk is so difficult at times? Does it seem that you're always battling against your desires, even though you know what God teaches in his word. You want to honor God and pursue righteousness, but instead, you find yourself chasing the very things that God hates.  Will there ever be a day when the Christian life is free from internal conflict? The Apostle Paul helps us understand this battle in Galatians 5:16-25. He states that "the desires of the flesh (sinful nature) are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other."  Paul goes on to say that "those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh." How can the flesh still remain after it has been crucified?
