When we think about God's power and sovereignty, we can easily feel distant from him since he is so far above us. Yet, there are many places in Scripture that describe God as a friend and other times as our father. It's these relational terms that help us to know God as a person, not a powerful force. Galatians 3:26-4:7 explains the heart of God as he pursues us as his children. The results of salvation are far more than mere forgiveness. We are brought into the family of God and are co-heirs with Jesus. We are chosen, loved, adopted, protected, and free as we receive by faith the redemption that Christ accomplished. Join us on Sunday as we explore the love of our Father in heaven.
